About Me
What’s A Theron?
I get that a lot. My name is Theron Burrough and I live in Michigan, having moved from my hometown of New York in 2021. I miss the big city (to the extent it was habitable) but am happier among the wonderful people (crabbiness is part of life) in my town. I love the open spaces and trees. I loved the snow when it was in a picture of Michigan.
Science Fiction Came True
I feel a bit privileged to have seen today’s world invented. When I was small I read 1940s science fiction. Some of the robots were entirely mechanical with no electronics, as electronics didn’t yet exist. The Jetsons, Star Trek and Star Wars later updated my image of the future.
The Integrated Circuit brought us that future. Space Age technology, as we called it, became common. I’ve been using, building, fixing, and helping others with electronic machines since they arrived. I really like working with technology and sharing it with others.
Interests
Two topics of great interest to me are technology and health. (Hence the space-related background images.) I particularly welcome technology and human health projects.
