An avid health reader and natural products user, I am excited about today’s explosion of health information and products. Below are some reasons I choose to work in the health products business. Essential Oils
My favorite natural care products are essential oils. Hydrogen peroxide and alcohol are great disinfectants, but so is tea tree oil. For tooth or gum pain, I can run to the drugstore for a numbing agent. Or I can apply clove oil to reduce or remove the pain. (If you try essential oils for the first time, please note they are highly concentrated and generally require dilution before application.)
Rosemary oil stimulates blood flow, and I use a shampoo containing it. Toothpaste brands I prefer generally contain natural peppermint or mint (and no fluoride). Why use chemically-engineered scents rather than natural lavender, peppermint, and other oils?
